The Pygmalion Original Drum Lamp Base is hand painted in our Oxfordshire studio.  The shape of the lamp base is inspired by a pair of antique cloisonné lamp bases.  This version is made from tulip wood with the flower motifs are laid in by brush and stencils.  The lamp base is then given further layers of paint to enhance the colours and to enrich and antique the finish.
